The Council of the Society of Construction Law Hong Kong has applied to the Inland Revenue Department of the Hong Kong SAR for charitable status and tax exemption under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance Cap.112. The Inland Revenue Department has granted the application, subject to the amendments to the Constitution. The Council of the Society of Construction Law Hong Kong recommends that a resolution be passed to that effect.
