Adelaide Luke is the Asia Head of Competition in Herbert Smith Freehills, one of the leading full-service global law firms. Adelaide has considerable experience in all areas of Hong Kong, EU and UK competition law, as well as of many of the competition regimes in Asia (particularly China). Her experience encompasses cartels (including in the construction sector), other horizontal arrangements including consortia and JVs, merger control, regulatory investigations (e.g. into abuses of market power), and competition litigation. She has worked for clients across many different industries, including the construction and building materials, energy and infrastructure, and property management sectors.
Murphy Mok is a Senior Associate in the Construction and Infrastructure team at Herbert Smith Freehills. He has extensive experience in advising major Chinese and international companies on large-scale and high value construction projects across Asia, Middle East and Africa. His work covers dispute resolution (particularly arbitration under various institutional rules), project life advisory and contract drafting and negotiations.
Howard Chan is a Senior Associate in the Competition team at Herbert Smith Freehills. Howard is experienced in the full spectrum of competition law, including anticompetitive agreements, abuse of dominance, and merger control. Prior to joining the Hong Kong team, Howard trained in the firm's Competition, Regulation and Trade team in London and is familiar with EU and UK competition law, as well as the competition law regimes across Asia.
