Paper Wins, Real Enforcement: Enforcement Lessons for Construction Arbitration in Asia

• Losing parties increasingly seek any argument to resist paying out on the arbitration award. A “paper win” which cannot be enforced removes the commercial value of arbitrating. 
• This talk will discuss a selection of recent decisions from, Hong Kong, PRC and Singapore,   and use them to identify practical drafting, strategy, and dispute resolution lessons for the construction industry.

Hazel will give concrete, tips that different types of stakeholders can use when negotiating contracts or running arbitrations in order to manage and mitigate the enforcement risk.
