Cross -investment between Hong Kong and the Middle East is a strategic goal for the Hong Kong Government. We have for the past few years also been seeing increased collaboration with the Middle East both within the construction and legal sectors. In addition, current events surrounding Iran are posing supply chain and materials risks for projects in Hong Kong and across Asia Pacific. Drawing on her years of practical experience an on current case studies, Paula will examine • Similar common contractual issues manifesting across both regions • Lessons learned from the Middle East perspective of interest in Hong Kong • Approaches to allocation of risk particularly given current global circumstances
